Her Story
Beth was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Frank and Mary Carol Lidinsky. She grew up with big brother and now groomsman Matt in Ruxton, Maryland. She attended St. Francis of Assisi School for grade school where her mother is a teacher. She then attended Notre Dame Preparatory School for high school where she became life-long friends with Maid-of-Honor Megan. After NDP Beth moved down to Lexington, Virginia to attend Washington and Lee University. There she was a Biochemistry major with a minor in Poverty Studies. She pledged Kappa Delta with bridesmaid Adrienne where she met Matron of Honor Tricia, and a year later bridesmaid Katie became Beth’s sorority little sister. After college Beth moved back home to attend University of Maryland School of Medicine. There she made many dear friends including bridesmaid Kristen. After a few months at home Beth adopted her wonderful black lab mix, Darby from the Maryland SPCA. Eventually Beth and Darby moved downtown to Federal Hill where Beth became friends with bridesmaid Katlin. Around that time Beth’s brother Matt married Shelby, and Beth gained an amazing-sister-in law and now bridesmaid. Beth is currently completing her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Medical Center and plans on going into private practice. She loves spending time with her adorable nephew and niece, Jude and Lanie, and running, especially with Dave, his dog Stacks, and Darby.
One fateful evening Beth and Katie kicked off medical school spring break and convinced Katie’s friend from high school, Dave, to take them out on the town. Beth and Dave immediately hit it off, and shortly after that they had their first official date at Matsuri in Federal Hill. She won him over by delivering him soup when he was sick, and they spent an amazing 5 years together before getting engaged.
His Story
Dave was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Scott Donahoo and Debbie Donahoo. He grew up in Cockeysville and Pikesville, MD with little brothers and now Best Men Derek and Brett. He attended Gilman where he made many life-long friends including groomsmen Ben and Kyle. After Gilman he decided to attend Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. There he pitched for the baseball team and pledged Phi Psi with groomsman Bobby. He was an International Business and Management major and spent a summer studying at the London School of Economics. During his senior year he got his wonderful golden retriever, Stacks who enjoyed being a puppy at college. After college they moved to Federal Hill where he was roommates with several friends including groomsman Peter.
This past February Dave surprised Beth in the early morning as she finished packing for their vacation by getting down on one knee and proposing with his grandmother’s engagement ring. They then spent the week in Aruba celebrating and were thrilled to share the news with the rest of their family and friends when they returned home.
